Stop, Drop & Roll 2025 – 10 Years of All-Girls Skateboarding in Vancouver

This past weekend marked the 10th anniversary of Stop, Drop & Roll, the all-girls skateboarding event that’s been holding it down in Vancouver for a decade. Once again, Rosie crushed it on the organizing front, pulling together pros, locals, and international talent for a heavy day of skating and community at Hastings Bowl and Britannia Courts.

A North America-Wide Lineup

This year’s anniversary wasn’t small by any means; pros from all across North America pulled up to throw down. Heavy hitters like Hayley Wilson, Nicole Hause, Una Farrar, and Breana Geering joined the mix, alongside a stacked roster of other skaters who came ready to put on a show.

Brackets for Everyone

What makes Stop, Drop & Roll so dope is that it’s not just for the pros. The contest had beginner, intermediate, pro, and over-30 divisions, and every bracket brought the heat. From first-timers finding their flow to seasoned skaters dropping in with confidence, the energy never let up. It was progression, style, and hype vibes across the board.

Skating With Purpose

Beyond the sessions and contests, the event kept its heart in the right place: all proceeds went to Gaza Skate Team, supporting the global skateboarding community in a real way. It’s the kind of gesture that shows how connected and supportive the skate world can be when it comes together.

Ten Years Strong

Stop, Drop & Roll has always been about creating a space for women in skateboarding to push, progress, and inspire each other. Hitting the 10-year milestone is huge; it’s proof of what community-led events can achieve when they’re fueled by passion and kept consistent. Rosie and the crew have built something that’s part contest, part family reunion, and part rally cry for the future of skateboarding.
