NINETIMES CALGARY – 3WISHES

24 Oct NINETIMES CALGARY – 3WISHES

Quartersnacks posted “3wishes”, the new video for Ninetimes Skateshop‘s Calagry-based crew by Quin Ellul. It feels like a glimpse into the younger generation coming out of the city, but includes nods from the O.Gs (Riley Boland, Kevin Lowry, et al.) Like most Canadian city scenes, you can almost feel the mercurial high that the warm months and longer days bring permeating through the screen — a “I gotta get this trick into this roof right fuckin’ now because in two months, I’ll only have seven hours worth of daylight and below freezing temperatures to deal with” -sort of thing.

Skaters: Jayson Guenther, Tom Nelner, Haiden Meier, Kevin Lowry, Brett Ayerst, Dylan Hua, Evan Chan, Reid Morris, Ty Schwarzenberger, Jon Ferns, Ryan Bjorgan, Alexandre Poulin, Jake Slack, Kyle Anderson-Nguyen, Riley Boland, Erick Penton, Quin Ellul, Dan Bubalo, Gavin Bottger, Jesse Ingrilli.
